Yesterday, I took a nap at 9am woke up around 2pm for lunch. Before you judge, I've been staying up the past few nights, working on something exciting for you. More details at the end of this email. “You look like you just woke up.” the aunty at my usual noodle stall remarked, nonchalant. I looked back at her, blinking, with a blank look on my face 😳 “Oh.. oh yeah I uh worked late last night..” I mumbled sheepishly. Dang! I cursed myself internally. It must be the sleepy look I was wearing. Should've freshened up more considerably and doubled up on those breath mints oops 😂😂 My point being, however state you show up in, people notice. If you appear half-attentive... Your prospects know. If your heart isn't in it anymore... Your audience can tell. If you had a bad day and still turned up on your scheduled call... Your clients see it, feel it, and the good ones will ask “are you okay?”. At this point, I hope you've cultivated an environment where you're surrounded by kind and observant people. And if not, or if you find your clients or students tuning out on a call, I think I may have the perfect thing for you. You see, whether or not people engage with you is less WHAT your saying and more about HOW you're saying it. Often times we can't tell the difference, and I don't fault you for it. After all, we literally cannot see ourselves from an outsider's point of view. That's why I came up with the four core Charisma Archetypes™. Once you've diagnosed your own archetype, you'll not only understand why you vibe with certain clients and not others, you'll also finally know how to conduct your next online class or call. By playing to your archetype strengths. I'll be teaching the Charisma Archetypes in a brand new workshop coming soon, and I'm so excited to tell you more about it. For now, I hope you have a great day. And always stock up on those breath mints! 🤭 Your partner in charisma, Mich P.S.: The Charisma Archetypes are designed to help you understand yourself better, so that you can hold space for your clients and teach better online, especially if you're an introvert like me. It's 100% an original framework I created, you won't find it anywhere online or off. As always, just hit “Reply” if you have any questions. |

“What’s your number?” I asked innocently. She hesitated, looking back at me with the 🤨 look. Suspicious. “Are you (First Name + Last Name)?” I switched tactics. “Oh yes,” she answers, still with raised eyebrows. “Awesome, here you go!” I handed her the pack of coffee beans she ordered for delivery to be picked up at our outlet. It wasn’t until she was out of sight, that it dawned on me why she looked to sus. Was she… No way… Did she really think..? Oh dear… Was she wondering why I was ASKING...
Yup… that and people screw up sometimes. And I sure darn screwed up this time! When I left my healthcare job in October last year, I was so sure my writing output would go from 1 to 100. Surely, with all the time I have now on my hand, I’ll write tonnes and tonnes of words daily, right? WRONG. I was so wrong. Between juggling life and self doubt and taking care of my mental wellbeing, I totally dropped the ball of daily writing. As a result, my writing muscle and connections and, ironically,...
Happy 2026 my dear Charisma Cultivators! I hope the first half of January has been good to you. I hope you’re still keeping up with your new year resolutions and working towards your goals. Was there something that has stood out to you so far? For me, I just returned from a long trip to the beautiful island of Tasmania. It was my first time outside of Asia, and the new environment allowed me the time and space to reflect and plan. getting to see wombats up close 😍 definitely my highlight of...
